NRAM (Natural Rest Advanced Mindfulness)

We look at core deficiency stories, belief systems, memories, traumas and bodily sensations. Deconstructing them and dis-identifying from them, ungluing all the masks and false identities, we do all this while resting as awareness.

I am now a fully certified facilitator in Scott Kiloby’s NRAM (Natural Rest Advanced Mindfulness). I will be doing a live video on this process and how it works at some stage in the near future for people who may be interested in doing sessions of this.

The technique involves looking at words and images in the mind, untangling and undoing the stories that tend to keep us trapped in all sorts of behaviour patterns and misery and then allowing the emotions to process. We unglue ourselves from the minds narratives.

We look at core deficiency stories, belief systems, memories, traumas and bodily sensations. Deconstructing them and dis-identifying from them, unglueing all the masks and false identities, we do all this while resting as awareness .

For myself, this technique has been amazing. Being able to objectively look at these narratives and get to the root of them, welcoming in the sensations/feelings we have always tried to avoid is unbelievably freeing. We turn toward and face all the things we have been running from, all the things that drive our destructive behaviours.

This type of inquiry, allows people to rest in the natural state. And then embody that in more and more situations over time as the narratives lose density and fall away.

Our true Self is always there, behind the masks but our attention is usually so glued to our narratives that it is outside of our awareness.

Will be posting, doing videos and running courses and workshops about all this as time goes on.

Peace, Matt Nettleton

“Be willing to look at everything, starting with your own illusions, your own mind movements, and the way that you avoid emotions instead of facing them directly. Looking means seeing the mind movements in the moment they happen. It means staring directly into the emotional wounds that you have been trying to escape through relationships, sex, jobs, beliefs, methods, food, drugs, and the like.” -Scott Kiloby, ‘Love’s Quiets Revolution’
